Barn Name: Charlie
Charlie is a very sweet and cooperative doe. She LOVES being a dairy goat and is very enthusiastic about getting onto the milk stand. She is "all business" and stands patiently. She is used to both hand and machine milking. Charlie is one of the last Nigerian Dwarf goats to carry the Franke Farm herd name. Her dam was sold, as a bred doe, when the breeder switched to French Alpines in 2020. Charlie comes from a long line of superior genetics on her dam's side. SG Franke Farm PN Coach is the 5th generation to earn her SG. Coach's dam, SG Pholia Farm RD Cocoa Chanel, made the ADGA elite list in 2020 by placing in the top 5% nationally (she was #2 on the list)! Charlie has inherited her dam's lovely medial and soft, easy-to-milk teats. Charlie was a bit of a late bloomer, freshening for the first time at 3 years old. She gave birth to triplets on 2-10-24. Very easy birth and she's a fabulous mother. We have retained her 2024 daughter, Floof Farm Charlie's Angel.
Things I love about Charlie: She is easy going and made a smooth transition to our farm, even though almost 4 months pregnant. Charlie is all business on the milk stand.
Dual Registered with ADGA and MDGA.
